I have a q6600 that I have been running for months now at 3.2 Ghz when I added a second 8800GTX my computer began to crash. I was running on air to start as I had to save for the stealth. I tried everything to stop the crashing only when I removed the card did my system no longer crash I thought it might be a heat issue with the card as I have had problems before. Water will fix it I thought, wrong. I found I had to step my over clock down to 2.8Ghz Is this normal?I tried increasing the CPU voltage from 1.3 to 1.4 but no improvement. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

System EVGA 680i A1 2x 8800GTX, Creative XFI extreme music , Coolermaster 850 PSU 4 Gigs corsair, 2x DVD drive
2x 160G Hds raid 0

Cooling Swiftech 2x MCW30, Apogee GTX, 2x Stealth rev2+3, 655 pump, Hardware labs 360 GTX, 5 fans

adding voltage to your cpu isnt going to make the slightest bit of difference, adding a second card to your already overclocked system will be pushing the chipset that controls the GPU's. im pretty sure that is the Southbridge try giving it a bit more voltage than normal and see if it fixes your stability problem.

You've made several posts now and they don't seem to have anything to do with the topic that they're being posted in. Can you explain this for me?

Regards,
