 Post subject: MCX159-CU fan and heatsink installation

My motherboard is from ECS Elitegroup and it is a dual core unit.
It is a Intel Point D 915 LGA775 Pkg. 2.8 GHz 2x2 L2 Cache system.
I don't expect that you need all that for my question.

I think that I will soon need to replace the North Bridge fan and heat sink as the fan is now making a lot of noise. It seems to me that the MCX159-CU would work very well for me. The dimensions seem well suited but my unit only has two rather than four brackets to attach the fan and heat sink. I am not clear as to how the wires work if you only have two brackets. The directions on your web site only show using four brackets not two.

Any thoughts?
