I'm contemplating getting a H240-X2 Prestige. Slightly sceptical about whether or not the QC is as bad as I've seen a lot of people saying. I'm thinking if I get one I'll use Teflon Tape wherever parts screw together, and Silicone Sealant all along where the reservoir and outer casing meet.

Or is this product simply not worth the risk?

best would be to avoid swiftech completely - i paid an expensive price - lost 980ti and sandy bridge motherboard - had to dish out 1400 euros to replace everything - 1080 - 6700k - z170 a - 16gb corsair ram . Worst is i had to do it asap ( ~ 2 weeks ago) which was before the new kaby lake chips came out.
