Hi, I have a ton of old watercooling equipment from a project I worked on back in 2009 and everything is pratically brand new in boxes that I put in storage. I have a Thermochill 120.3 radiator, MCP655 pump and an Apogee GTX water block with the copper top. I know this is old school equipment, but I am wondering if the water block would work on a Socket 2011v3 motherboard (Asus Rog Strix x99 gaming motherboard).

1st: Is the Apogee GTX good enough for a socket 2011 cpu? (i7 6850)
2nd: There's a kit available for purchase on the site with new screws for mounting what it looks like the apogee gtx for socket 2011. Is this all I need?
3rd: What new block is recommended to purchase for 2011v3 provided I can't use the Apogee GTX?

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I'll compare my board with the backplate for the Apogee GTX tonight when my toddlers are asleep... they tend to get into everything and I'm trying to be real careful on this build!
